Three Dog Night, Queen AND Trans-Siberian Orchestra?! - This Week's Events in Columbus
December 4, 2025 Edition

If you’re a music lover, this is your week! We have a relatively consistent flow of live music in Columbus, but I can’t remember a week this year with more big musical acts and performances. The folks at the RiverCenter are going to be BUSY. In other news, it’s Christmas overload! Throw a dart at the map and you’re likely to land on a Christmas event this week. We’ve got everything from themed brunches to bingo to Santa meet and greets, to full parades. There’s truly something for everybody, so get out there and embrace the holiday spirit.
Ho ho ho, let’s get to the good stuff!

Events
1.🎄 Bi-City Christmas Parade

This is the annual holiday parade right in the heart of downtown Columbus. Come see floats, marching bands, and a special appearance from Santa Claus himself! While it’s technically a separate event, this parade is immediately followed by Christmas with the Wave over at the RiverCenter. I would highly recommend checking out both!
Location: Broadway
Date: Saturday, Dec. 6, 2025
Time: 10:00 AM
More Info: Christmas Parade
2.🎵 Three Dog Night

Here’s a little blast from the past! Come see Three Dog Night celebrate nearly 5 decades of music. To our older readers, TDG needs no introduction. To the younger readers, even if you’re unfamiliar with them, I promise you’ve heard many of their songs. You won’t regret seeing them live.
Location: RiverCenter for the Performing Arts
Date: Thursday, Dec. 4, 2025
Time: 7:30 PM
More Info: Three Dog Night
3.🎤 One Night of Queen

Speaking of songs you’ve heard before, does anybody have more ear worms than Queen?! This is a full-stage tribute recreating the look, sound, and showmanship of Freddie Mercury and Queen. Gary Mullen and the Works have been performing this for over 20 years and even Brian May himself has billed this show as “more than just a likeness”. That’s high praise. Come and see what the hype is all about. I’m guessing they will rock you.

4.🛍️ Highside Market 3rd Annual Holiday Bazaar

It feels like Highside Market is still brand new, so it’s hard to believe anything is on it’s third annual edition, but that’s the case with the Third Annual Holiday Bazaar at Highside. Come enjoy cheerful cocktails, photos with Santa, live music, face painting, shopping and more.

5.⚙️ The Flip Columbus

In one of our first editions of this newsletter, we posted about The Flip. Sixish months later and it’s back! For those that aren’t familiar, this is a large trade show and marketplace where you can buy, sell or trade collectibles of all kinds. Sports memorabilia, coins, video games, autographs, Pokémon, the list goes on. If people collect it, there’s a good chance it’ll be here.
Location: Columbus Convention & Trade Center
Date: Saturday, Dec. 6, 2025
Time: 11:00 AM–5:00 PM
More Info: The Flip
6.🎼 The Prophecy Show: Tribute to TSO

If Three Dog Night or Queen aren’t your style, maybe Trans-Siberian Orchestra is for you! My kids discovered TSO this year with Carol of the Bells and now we must listen to that every single day. The Prophecy is the premiere tribute band for TSO. This group of classically trained musicians goes all out with costumes, choreography, lasers, fog and of course all the classic songs you’re familiar with. Christmas is the perfect time to come see this show. Don’t miss your chance!
