Alice in Wonderland, a Massive Collectibles Trade Show & Back-To-School Already?! - This Week's Events in Columbus
July 17, 2025 Edition

The Back-to-School events are already starting! I can’t believe how fast Summer has flown by, but here we are. This is one of those great weeks with a lot of fun local events, but also some big, one-time events that are passing through town. This truly is a week with something for everybody. Speaking of something for everybody, I frequently come across posts on social media where somebody says they’re visiting Columbus soon for whatever reason and they want to know what to do. Rather than always answering these questions individually, I’m considering creating a short “guide” that gives the most common answers to this question. It would basically be a “weekend in Columbus” type of agenda. Do you think that would be useful to people, or is it overkill? Reply to this and let me know!
Ok, I’m rambling a bit now so let’s jump into the good stuff!
If you’re a local business owner and would like to see your business featured as a sponsor, just reply to this email for more information.

1.🎭 Alice in Wonderland at the Springer Opera House

Here’s a production that needs no introduction (am I a poet now?!). In this high-energy adventure, Alice dashes through the audience in pursuit of the White Rabbit, joins the most absurd tea party in history, and faces off with the fiery Queen of Hearts. Get ready for a little magic and a whole lot of nostalgia.

It’s $7 for general admission but free for ages 13 and under.

5.🌟 Two Turnt Neon Party at The Peach Shoppe & Co.

If the above events all feel a little tame and reserved and you’re looking for something a little more exciting, I’ve got the one for you. How about a Neon Party?! The Peach Shoppe & Co is having their 2nd anniversary and they’re celebrating in style. While the sun is still up, they are partnering with Street Food Saturdays and Stirrup Trouble to bring you food trucks, local shopping, music, and some giveaways. After the sun goes down, the glow-up begins. Inside Stirrup Trouble, they’re throwing the Neon After Party. They are telling everybody to “come hungry, come glowing, and come ready to win”,
