March is already upon us! Well, not yet, but this upcoming week does flow into March. Man, where does the time go? We have a nice variety of events this week, from big music to trivia and free clinics for kids. As always, I’ve tried to include something for everybody.

1. Opening Night at The Yard

Even if you don't have a dog, this one is good to see. The spot near Scofflaw and Moe's that used to be Fetch Dog Park is reopening! The Yard is a new club for dogs. Proceeds from this park benefit Paws Humane Society so you can let your dog get some exercise, grab some food or beverages from the aforementioned Scofflaw and Moe’s, and contribute to a good cause all at one time. It’s great to see this space put to use again!

2. Sydney Justin (The Voice of The Miracles)

Founded by Motown legend Smokey Robinson, The Miracles produced an amazing 26 Top 40 songs. They truly paved the way for other Motown artists and left a lasting impact on the music industry as a whole. They are led today by "Sydney Justin", the longest running Miracles lead singer. The Miracles will be joined by special guests, The Delfonics, for a night of Motown favorites!

3. Star Wars Trivia Night

Trivia is making its way back to The Tap and what better way to bring it back than a special edition of Star Wars! Sign-up for the trivia starts at 9:00PM and will kick-off afterward. There will be prizes for winners along with drink specials all night long! Come and put all that Star Wars knowledge to the test!

4. Free Boys Flag Football Clinic

If you have young boys and are looking to get them out of the house to burn some energy this weekend, I have just the thing. This is a FREE flag football skills clinic for ages 7 through 11. Scan the QR code to register as spaces may be limited.

5. Annual St Thomas Yard Sale

Folks seem to like when I post big yard sales here, so I wanted to call this one out. This is a HUGE annual yard sale. It’s indoors, so if the weather doesn’t cooperate, that doesn’t matter. All profits will support the Chattahoochee Valley Episcopal Ministry.
