BRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. I knew a cold front was coming but I wasn’t prepared for 25 degrees or whatever the heck it got down to Tuesday morning!  I like the cold, but there’s a limit, and this was below that limit for sure. In other news, the holidays are creeping up fast! Is anybody planning any big travel over Thanksgiving? We’ve got a trip planned and I’m already stressing the flight cancellations and delays. Vacations are great, but being stuck in an airport is not. On a more positive note, it’s another solid week for events in our city and we’ve got a diverse assortment this week. This is a nice free event to get us started this week. This is a great chance to save big on that home improvement project you’ve been delaying. This is a massive event with a ton of vendors, contractors and everything you’d need. 3.🏒 River Dragons vs Pee Dee Icecats

Columbus Hockey is BACK! Technically, the River Dragons season started over a month ago, but they were on the road for the first four full weeks of their schedule. Their first homestand finally kicks off this weekend with games on Friday and Saturday. The season goes through April, so if you miss the opener there will be plenty of other opportunities, but I wanted to call this out as the start of the season before the rest of the games get buried in the sports section towards the bottom, which I’ll be bringing back soon.

4.🎬 Movie Night: Garfield’s Thanksgiving

These Monday Movie Nights in Daisy Park have been going on for a while, but as we get into the swing of the season, this one felt topical enough to highlight. Grab your blankets and some chairs and come watch Garfield’s Thanksgiving. There will be popcorn, plus the great food, drink and snack options in Highside Market. Don’t worry, I already checked the forecast and it’s supposed to be a lot warmer next week, so you won’t freeze!

5.🎁 Jordan’s Holiday Market
